AP Top 25 College Football Poll: Oregon Ducks Fly To Number One
College Football continues to bring excitement with each passing game. Every weekend in October has brought thrills and chills. That is why we love college football. With October's third week in the books, here is the AP Top 25 College Football; we see some movement after the weekend.
There is a new number on top of the poll this week. They always saw Ducks Fly Together. No no we are not talking about those Ducks. The Oregon Ducks, who remain undefeated are the new number one team in College Football. It is the first time in the playoff era the Ducks are number.
Along with Oregon, Penn State, Miami, Army, Navy, Liberty, Indiana, BYU, Pittsburgh, and Iowa State remained unbeaten. If you recall, Texas was on this list until Kirby Smart’s Georgia Bulldogs knocked them off this past Saturday night.
Never count out a national champion. That is the lesson of the weekend. Georgia had no shot at winning the game. Coach Kirby Smart used that to his advantage, and the Bulldogs played their best game of the year. Georgia’s win throws everything into a blender in the SEC.
There must be some talk about Alabama’s defense and how it could cost them a playoff spot. After a slow start, the Oregon Ducks could be the best team in the Big Ten. As we inch toward the first College Football Playoff Committee Rankings, things are just getting started.
How about the Army and Navy remaining undefeated? Things could get interesting in the American conference and the Army-Navy Game the following week. Imagine these two teams playing back-to-back weeks.

With Oregon at number one, Georgia goes to two with their win over Texas. Penn State sits at number three with Ohio State, who lost to the Ducks last week, sit at Four.
The rest of the top ten sees (5) Texas, (6) Miami, who won, but is not impressing the writers as their performance at Louisville keeps them at six. After that Tennessee goes to seven, with Clemson at eight, LSU at nine, and unbeaten Iowa State at ten. Right behind them at 11 is unbeaten BYU.
Looking at the rest of the AP Top 25, the Army and Navy are ranked 23 and 24, respectively. Not sure why Army dropped a spot. They beat East Carolina. We get it they let back in the game, but they still won. One of these teams is beating Notre Dame.
Pitt is down at 19 despite remaining unbeaten. Again the ACC is having a down year and is Clemson as good as people think they are. Feels like another unbeaten is going down this week. And how about Vanderbilt in at number 25.
With the new conference schedules, things should get interesting moving forward.
