Week 10 College Football Games To Watch
Just like that there is one month left in the 2024-25 College Footbal regular season. We are into the first weekend of November and Week 10 is here. The official College Football Rankings come out on November 5th. Something happens that day too. Not sure what. However, there was some movement in the AP Top 25 as Week 10 begins.
Every conference is wide open. No team is running away with things as Week 10 action begins. The new conference realignment and schedule makes every game still matter when it comes to the new 12-team college football playoff. Not to mention it puts certain coaches jobs on the line as with all these big games.
The first weekend of November is highlighted by One Big Game in the Big Ten. Lots of big schools on the bye this week as the last couple of weekends in October gave the sports come great matchups. Not as many this weekend.
However, it all starts with the Big Noon Kickoff with the Big Game in the Big Ten as Two Coaches jobs could be on the line in that one.
As conference plays continue, let's Dive into Week 10 College Football Games to Watch

(4) Ohio St. vs. (3) Penn St.
Look this game is going to come down to who do you trust more to get the job done when it matters. Ryan Day and James Franklin are both feeling the heat. Neither man has done particular well in these Top Five matchups. While Franklin has a win over Ohio St it feels like ages ago. Ryan Day still can’t get it done on the big stage. Both coaches have solid records outside of these games.
Again, which coach do you have more faith in? Right now despite his record Ryan Day knows how to beat teams in the Big Ten outside of Oregon and Michigan. James Franklin has yet to show proper adjustments in these games. Just look at the Michigan last year. Franklin knew what was coming and could not stop the run. This game will determine a lot on who has a job next season.
On the field Will Howard the kid who wanted to go to Penn St will look show them he was good enough to go there. Can Ryan Day design a balanced offense with a good running attack. Not to mention can this Ohio State defense step up and stop someone. On the other side, Drew Allar seems to found rhythm but again can he get it done in the big game. Does USC count as a big game? This will determine who gets to the title game.
(18) Pittsburgh vs. (20) SMU
This will be a fun game in the ACC. Who would have thought when the schedule came out that Pittsburgh and SMU would determine who could be playing in the title game come the end of the season?
The Panthers will have QB Eli Holstein playing against SMU. Meanwhile, the Mustangs have QB issues as well. Kevin Jennings is officially listed as questionable, but he says he will be ready to come game time. SMU will have to limit the turnovers against a good Panthers defense. They can’t turn the ball over six times.
Again this is a huge game in the ACC standings even though many think Miami and Clemson will meet in the title game. However, Pittsburgh and Clemson still play this season. Another undefeated will go down this week.
Louisville vs. (11) Clemson
Week 10 has another good ACC matchup. Clemson is heating up and is undefeated in the ACC despite a poor start to the season. There offense has improved with a balanced running game and QB Cade Klubnik finding his game with 20 TDs thrown, four rushing TDs, and completing 67% of his passes for 1,836 yards. He has thrown just two INTs since the Georgia game.
However, who has Clemson played this season? The ACC is down this year and the teams many thought would have been good are not. This is a big test for the Tigers against a good Louisville team led by QB Tyler Shough. He has thrown for 2,348 yards through eight games and has 20 TDs and five interceptions.
(19) Ole Miss vs. Arkansas
Look Lane Kiffin is getting the reputation in the SEC for not winning games that he should win to keep his team in contention. Ole Miss and Arkansas feels like one of those games. Kiffin needs this win and so do the Rebels for any chance of making the 12 team college football playoff.
And remember Ole Miss has Georgia next week another game where Kiffin has a chance to knock a team out similar to Alabama last year. But they can’t look past a good Arkansas team that knocked off Tennessee earlier in the year.
Jaxson Dart is the key the Rebels offense. They need to be a high scoring team to win. But Arkansas at home and their defense is tough and can cause turnovers. However, the Razorbacks will be without RB Ja’Quinden Jackson, so a lot more will be asked of their backup and the QB.
Other Games To Watch:
Only four big games on the slate and we were pulling at straws outside of Ohio St and Penn State and Pitt vs. SMU. But here are some other games to watch.

Duke vs. (5) Miami - Manny Diaz Revenge Game?
Air Force vs. (21) Army
