AP Top 25 College Football Poll: Writers Leave Their Mark
The College Football regular season including Championship Weekend is over. The AP writers have spoken on who they think are the top teams in the land. They made choices. We can all agree to disagree on those choices. However, one thing is clear there is no standard between the writers and the committee members.
Championship Weekend never disappoints in College Football. It is the final AP Top 25 College Football until the Final one after the National Championship Game. It will be interesting to see the Final Official Rankings on Sunday afternoon when the bracket gets released.
The Oregon Ducks are proving they are best team in the nation. They won the Big 10 Conference in their first year in the conference. Oregon was the preseason favorite to win and they did. Not bad for a Pac-12 team. Speaking of a Pac-12 team Arizona State won the Big 12 in their first season in that conference. The Sun Devils are up to 10 in the new poll.
Now let’s have a conversation about Penn State. They are number five in the latest poll ahead of Ohio State who is six. Remember Penn State lost to Ohio State, but Ohio State lost to Michigan. But again who does head to head matter. Legitimate question.
