Aaron Rodgers Needs To Make A Decision
Mr. Rodgers It is Not That Hard Either You Want To Play or You Don't!
The ongoing saga over whether Aaron Rodgers wants to play football again is getting tiresome.
This saga with Rodgers has lasted for the better part of the last four seasons. It started with his time ending in Green Bay after the Packers drafted Jordan Love. He then went on that Darkness Retreat to determine whether he wanted to play for the New York Jets.
During his time with the Jets, he went on various vacations and retreats to improve his mental state. However, he did not improve his own game on the field, making the Jets worse. This was allowed because the owner, Woody Johnson, just wanted headlines.
When the coaches stepped in, they were removed. The new Jets head coach, Aaron Glenn, ended the circus show. That is Aaron Rodgers telling him they were going in a different direction.
Even Rodgers, at the end of last season, wasn’t sure he wanted to play. However, Rodgers has stated he wanted to play for two more seasons. But if that was really the case, why does he need almost another month to make up his mind?
Some reports indicate he will not make a decision until the week before the NFL Draft. How does that help teams like the New York Giants or Pittsburgh Steelers who need a quarterback?
Is it this hard to make a decision? If so, it shows that Rodgers does not want to play anymore, and two teams are desperate and think he can help them just go along with the circus.

The teams who want him need to think about another direction and take the chairs away from him. We saw the Minnesota Vikings decide that Rodgers wasn’t the right guy, and they will ride the J.J. McCarthy train. That is one chair down. Two more to go in quarterback musical chairs.
The Giants met with Russel Wilson and Jameis Winston. Both of them would be great fits for a struggling team with a bad offensive line. And does Rodgers want to go through that again? Look what happened with the Jets and that O-Line.
There are not many options after those two teams. Rodgers isn’t Tom Brady. He does not take the game seriously. Brady was still playing at a high level at 40. Father Time always wins when it comes to older athletes.
Decision-making has been a problem for Rodgers recently. Just look at how many awful throws he made with the New York Jets. Instead of taking the blame for himself, he blamed others.
His decision-making off the field is just as bad, too. Again, how long does it need to take to decide where you want to play? The Jets season was over at the beginning of January. We are now halfway through March.
On the first day of NFL Free Agency, we saw players sign instantly. They knew where they wanted to go. Even Cooper Kupp, who was released by the Los Angeles Rams two weeks again, made a decision in less than a week to sign with the Seattle Seahawks.
It should not be this hard, Aaron, to make a decision. Either you want to play, or you don’t. Since you can’t decide, the NFL teams will decide for you. And it seems they don’t want you either.
It might be best for Aaron Rodgers to retire and move on.
