AP Top 25 College Football Poll: Indiana Moves into the Top 10
It is the first weekend in November, and the new AP Top 25 College Football Poll is out, and there are some shakeups.
The Oregon Ducks continue to show why they are the number-one team in the nation. The new poll after the first weekend of November reflects that. But we are back where we started at the beginning of the season with the Oregon, Georgia, and Ohio St right in the top three.
The number of unbeaten teams is dwindling every week. Only a handful remain with Oregon, Army, Miami, Indiana, and BYU.
After being disrespected for much of the season and even last week, the Indiana Hoosiers are number eight this week. Google Curt Cignetti. All he does is win. Kurtis Rourke is back, and they dominate again. They have two more tests ahead.
The Miami Hurricanes are rolling along; they moved up to number four in the latest poll. Their offence is top-five worthy for sure; their defence has to perform better with some tough games to come. But this is where everyone expected the Canes to be.

With the Ducks, Bulldogs, Buckeyes, and Hurricanes in the top four, the Longhorns sit at number five. Following them is Penn State. Ahead, we have seen the losers of these top five matchups only drop slightly in the poll. It will be interesting to see where the Nittany Lions are in the College Football Playoff Rankings.
Tennessee is at seven, the Hoosiers at eight, BYU, which was on the bye, at nine, and Notre Dame at 10. Who would have thought that after their Week 2 loss?
Army remains unbeaten and is up to 18. The Crimson Tide sit at 11 and is still in the hunt for the playoff. Right behind them are SMU and Boise State. Remember, the highest-ranked group of five teams is going to the playoffs.
Then you see Louisville back in the Top 25 at 25, Pittsburgh and Iowa State slide slightly, and Clemson drops to 19.
There are only a few more weeks left in the regular season. Let’s see how things play out.
